Zilch #15 Fandom-Friends & Rare Micky Dolenz with Iain Lee!

We focus on the Fans! Sarah Clark is joined by Lauren "Mich" Balk, Aeryn Christie, Jaime Hitchcock, and "Miss Mini" of Naked Persimmon for a freewheeling discussion of fan culture and creativity. Iain Lee of Monkeebootlegs.com, joins Sarah to preview his upcoming releases of the forgotten Micky Dolenz film "Keep Off My Grass", as well as Micky's MGM-era solo singles.
Sarah would like to dedicate today's episode to the memory of Melissa "Anissa" Montag. Anissa was a gifted writer and member of the Frodis Femmes, a group of Monkees fan fiction writers who became sisters for life...and beyond. You can learn more about Anissa and the Frodis Femmes by visiting www.fandomlenses.com.

  1. I really enjoyed Iain's "boring" technical talk about how he went on to start his own record label. Personally, I think he is underestimating the number of Monkees fans who will buy the LP- I'm sure the initial pressing of 500 will sell out pretty quickly!
