  3. Glad you enjoyed the audio enough from my youtube "Kind of Girl" to use in the podcast. It took awhile to assemble and blend my footage together for that! I have a whole concert I put together of the tour that is just like that, which took me probably over 60 hours to assemble. check out my other youtube vids! Thanks for the fun podcasts. I tried to start a podcast a couple years ago but just did 2 episodes by myself.

  5. You guys neglected to mention some key facts about some of the tracks on side 2 of "More of the Monkees". For one thing, Nesmith's collaboration on writing "The Kind of Girl I Could Love" was forced, in the hope that he would write a song that was less country and therefore, more commercial. He admitted later that he purposely wrote the song in the style of Buddy Holly, patterning it after "Peggy Sue", because that was his idea of what a "pop" song sounded like. Also, you failed to mention the real reason why "The Day We Fall In Love" is such a bad song- the concept is so idiotic! Davy sounds to be in full stalker mode, anticipating love to happen. Had it been written in past tense rather than future tense, it might have made a little sense. Lastly, you are quick to point out who authored the good songs, but do not give credit to the authors of stellar songs such as "Laugh". You should have done some research as to who the authors are and what other songs they have on their resume. Incidentally, "Laugh" was written by the Tokens, famous for their hit, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". (Their other big hit was titled, "Tonight I Fell In Love". Hmmm...the authors of "The Day We Fall In Love" may have subconsciously plagiarized that song...)
